In the age of gamification, offer fun content to convert new subscribers.

For example, you could offer a quiz like “What is your ideal apartment?” if you’re an interior designer, or “Does your e-commerce project have potential?” if you’re a marketing support agency.

Fun quizzes engage your visitors with your content. The quiz results are then sent via email after they sign up for the newsletter.

Remember that, in accordance with GDPR, your quiz signup form must transparently refer to the newsletter signup, for example: “Sign up for our newsletter and receive your quiz results.”

8 – Send a survey

Ask your subscribers what they think of your newsletter to optimize it.

Imagine the following belize phone number library scenario: You’ve successfully built an email list and are gaining more and more subscribers. However, you notice that the newsletter you send regularly is barely being opened. Why do your subscribers no longer seem interested in your content?

Surveys/polls are extremely useful for learning more about your subscribers’ needs and wants.

You can send a survey via email and offer a gift in exchange (e.g., a discount voucher). The survey itself should be designed as simply as possible, preferably in the form of multiple-choice questions.

You can ask your subscribers what types of content they prefer to receive, how often they expect to receive it, etc.

9 – Offer a free trial version

A free trial is always a good incentive for conversion.

If your product is available for free life lessons from the road trial (e.g., software), invite your visitors to sign up for your newsletter in exchange for a free trial of your product.

However, the free trial should not replace the primary incentive (e.g., sending special content), but rather complement it.

10 – Develop partnerships

Collaborate with another brand to take advantage of their audience.

By partnering with another brand—for fax lead example, by sharing articles on your respective blogs—you can easily gain exposure to a new audience and promote your newsletter.

Try to find a brand that offers a complementary service.

If, for example, you have an SEO agency, you might seek a partnership with an email marketing specialist. If you sell vegan milk, you might seek to collaborate with a food blog. And so on.
