These graphs already give us a good indication of the day and time that offer the best performance, but we didn’t stop there: in fact, the most favorable moment varies mainly depending on each sector of activity.To begin, we analyzed trends across all of our customers.
Here are the performance indicators we used in our study:
- Open rate: percentage of emails uk phone number library opened out of the total number of emails sent
- Click-through rate: The percentage of emails whose links were clicked out of the total number of emails sent.
- % of opened emails: The percentage of opened emails sent at a given time compared to the total number of opened emails

Email engagement by day of the week
Unsurprisingly, weekdays (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday) show more engagement than weekend days: they three sales gifts to give yourself represent 85% of opens and 95% of clicks for the entire week.
In terms of click volume, Tuesday and Wednesday are the days with the highest engagement. These two days also have some of the highest open rates.
Email engagement by hour of day
Here are the trends in email campaign performance based on the time of day sent.
We observe that two “best times” emerge fax lead during the day to send your newsletter or email:
- 10 a.m.: The time when most office workers start processing their emails
- 3 p.m. and 4 p.m.: The time your recipients check their emails again in the afternoon
We note that the click rate remains high for mailings around 6-7 p.m., when employees leave the office and go home.
